ECOCEPT®: ELASTIC BASE LAYER WITH RECYCLED MATERIAL COMPONENTS
What's behind it?
The Ecocept® in the base layer for Polisport sports surfacing systems is an innovative new type of material composition for elasticizing insitu layers developed specifically for use in synthetic turf surfacing systems.
This elasticizing base layer usually consists of SBR granules, often recycled tire granules, polyurethane binder and, if required, mineral quartz chips. Recycled artificial turf, in the form of RTA granules (Recycled Turf Agglomerates), is added as a new innovative component.

Reuse of materials from decommissioned artificial turf fields
Ecocept® contains recycled material components. Statements about CO₂ performance or life cycle assessment are only used where a reliable data basis, comparison method and defined system boundaries are available. According to manufacturer information, Ecocept® is made from at least 90% recycled materials. These may include components from decommissioned artificial turf fields, which are used as RTA granules in the elastic base layer.
